For a while I was wondering why some of my favorite services on Google didn't have official Android applications yet. My thinking is that applications like Reader or News would want to support the Android platform.  Well, what I didn't realize is that they already do, they're just optimized to work in the phone's browser. Definitely go check out there thoughts on the Google Mobile Blog. It made me realize that I didn't need an app, just a shortcut on the phone. The mobile site for News rocks and the mobile site for Google Reader is better than the apps I've found in the marketplace.
